By accessing, donating to, sponsoring, or participating in Bridging Illness to Income (BITI), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and protection for all parties involved.
1. General Use
- BITI is a nonprofit initiative focused on supporting individuals with chronic illness through financial and resource-based programs.
- All content, programs, and materials are provided for informational and support purposes only.
- BITI reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Donations (Individual Donors)
- All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
- Donations do not guarantee specific outcomes, services, or financial returns.
- BITI reserves the right to allocate funds where they are most needed across programs.
- Donors agree not to request control over how individual recipients are selected or funded.
3. Sponsorship Terms
- Sponsorship benefits (such as posts, mentions, or placements) will be delivered within the agreed sponsorship period.
- BITI reserves the right to determine the timing, format, and placement of sponsor-related content.
- Sponsors must provide all required materials (logos, descriptions, links) in a timely manner.
- BITI is not responsible for delays caused by missing or incomplete sponsor materials.
- Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once payment is made.
- BITI reserves the right to decline or remove sponsors that do not align with its mission or values.
4. Applicant & Program Participation
- Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into any BITI program.
- All applicants must provide accurate and truthful information.
- BITI reserves the right to verify application details where necessary.
- Approved participants agree to use funds or resources only for their intended purpose.
- Misuse of funds or false information may result in removal from the program and disqualification from future opportunities.
5. No Guarantee of Financial Results
- BITI provides resources, education, and support, but does not guarantee income, financial success, or business outcomes.
- Results will vary based on individual effort, circumstances, and external factors.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
- All content, materials, guides, and branding created by BITI are owned by BITI and may not be copied, redistributed, or sold without permission.
- Sponsors and participants may not use BITI branding in a misleading or unauthorized way.
7. Limitation of Liability
- BITI is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from participation in programs, donations, or sponsorships.
- Participants and donors agree to engage at their own discretion and risk.
8. Code of Conduct
- Act respectfully toward others
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior
- Represent BITI in a way that aligns with its mission
- BITI reserves the right to remove anyone who violates these standards
9. Privacy
- Personal information collected will be used solely for program operations, communication, and internal purposes.
- BITI will not sell or share personal data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
10. Agreement
By interacting with BITI in any way, including donating, sponsoring, or applying, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
